Outreach

The education team can deliver lessons, workshops, demonstrations and presentations to wherever you and your students or groups are based.

We recognise the difficulties that schools can face in making off site visits and with that in mind have developed a range of outreach programmes that we can bring to you. There are programmes suitable for different key stages and we offer a wide variety of topics delivered in a practical and creative way. Please refer to the individual workshops for topics, length of visit and National Curriculum areas covered.

All of the education team have teaching experience and the relevant CRB checks. Programmes can be flexible to suit your needs and can be delivered to classes of up to 35 children. Some programmes require a large amount of equipment, therefore a school hall or large classroom is advantageous and the presence of al least one member of school staff is required. An outreach workshop comes complete with a follow-up CD to enable teachers to expand on a topic if they so wish.

Costs and Payments

The cost of a half day programme is £80+VAT and a full day, £150+VAT. Schools can pay on the day, send a cheque in advance or be invoiced.
