Sweet Memories
Thursday 9th April (10am-2pm ~ drop in anytime!)
The Childrens Centre, Alston Moor Primary School

Everybody has memories of their childhood favourites from Black Jacks to Sherbert Dabs, liquorice sticks to barley twists. How much pocket money did you have to spend and how often were you allowed sweets?

This FREE family fun event is about sharing memories of the sweets children have today and how it is diffferent from their parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles etc.

Taste some old fashioned sweets and have a go at making your own sweets- all we ask is that children bring along somebody from a different generation to share the experience with.
